Paragon Lobby and Atrium Remodel
Prudential Real Estate had previously hired Keeney Design to develop lobby remodel projects for two of their office buildings in Denver, and based on the success of those projects elected to work with them again on this building and lobby remodel.
Lease rates and other owner considerations dictated that the project would be a very budget-conscious renovation. The first phase was the remodel of the main building lobby and elevator cabs. The second phase, completed the following year, included the remodel of the four-story atrium space that contains an espresso bar, light food service, and seating. Design elements include the use of acrylic EcoResin panels, wallcovering, porcelain tile flooring with carpet insets, new seating and lighting.
As part of the building renovation project, Keeney Design developed a design for new signage throughout the building, which included a new lobby directory, tenant directories on each floor, tenant ID plaques, restrooms, and informational/directional signage. The new signage was designed to give the building a more upscale look and better position the property to compete for new tenants with nearby buildings.
